My name is Lee Melton, a musician here in Carlsbad. I have officially been playing gigs in San Diego area since May of 2022. I had played music for some local bars and friends in Florida during college, but really got pushed by my wife and kids to play music for folks here in California. My performances are driven by my voice and accompanied by my acoustic guitar. I really enjoy all genres of music from multiple generations. I tend to keep the music upbeat with the rhythm of the guitar and do my best to read the crowd with song selection. My artist list is always growing, but some the artists I enjoy playing are: Jack Johnson, Tyler Childers, Zach Bryan, Donavon Frankenreiter, James Taylor, Ben Harper, Elton John, The Eagles, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Garth Brooks, Morgan Wallen, Bruno Mars, most 90’s pop rock, CCR and other various artists from 70’s to current.

Hello, I am a looping performer (kind of a one man band) covering R&B, Pop, Soul and Classic songs from the 60's into the 2,000's. My performances create a soulful vibe that will entertain your guests, or simply provide ambient background and instrumental music as requested. For solo performances, I use guitar modeling and a looping pedal and everything is completely controllable with a volume knob. Essentially I am a one man band that can go from whisper quiet to more lively for whatever is requested. Insured, professional, punctual, friendly and always grateful. Bio: In addition to my solo performances and playing with several local cover bands, I perform the role of Keith Richards in three different well known southern California Rolling Stones tribute bands: Satisfaction, The Hollywood Stones and The Ultimate Stones. I have been signed to Atco/Atlantic and Vineyard Records and was a founding member of "Outlaw Blood" Atco/Atlantic Records and "The Voices" MCA Records (I co-wrote 5 songs on this album). My songs and performances have also appeared on HBO, The Discovery Channel, MTV, CMT, A&E, Oprah, RuPaul and more. I also co-wrote, produced and performed 7 songs (including the opening and closing songs) appearing in the 2014 movie "The Identical" (wide released in over 5,000 theaters nationwide) - starring Ray Liotta, Ashley Judd and Seth Green.

Acoustic blues, roots of rock, folk, classic country and original material. My song "Roof of Hell" was awarded second place in the San Diego Songwriters Guild "Performing Songwriter Competition". It's inspired by the 200+ year old haiku by Kobayashi Issa : “In this world we walk on the roof of hell gazing at flowers” I have many years of experience performing live and enjoy interacting with audiences.

Mirage is an exciting, professional, five piece band, that performs throughout the greater San Diego area, up to and including South Orange County. We bill ourselves as 80's, Currents and Classics and perform an incredibly wide range of material. Mirage has 5 vocalists, 3 guitar players, including Sax, keyboards, bass and drums.
