Taylor Alexander is a true independent artist, he plays an acute, bluesy acoustic guitar paired with a rich, soul stricken voice. Genuine, honest lyrics make listeners instant fans, while the conversationalist elements to his songwriting make his fresh material relatable to audiences young and old. Taylor's midwestern roots make him just as easy to talk to as he is listen. Alexander's true uniqueness is in his live solo act, he has devised a technique he calls an "audible illusion" where he beat boxes while playing guitar and hums a melody over top. However, because his mouth is creating the beat, its almost like ventriloquism or as though a looping pedal is being used. Its all live. You have to see AND hear it to believe it.

Hummingbird Hotel is David Ornelas from the successful Reggae, soul, pop band, and Megan Combs, sultry Southern California singer songwriter. The duo came together through the San Diego music scene and in early 2014 co wrote the song that would be their debut single. 'Can't Say' was written on a magical night, on a rooftop overlooking the Gaslamp district of San Diego. The creative process between the two was organic and natural. They released Can't Say May 13th, 2014 and had already started collaborating and writing more songs. They decided because of the buzziness, and excitement and project to call their duo Hummingbird Hotel. With rich harmonies, strong musicianship and great stage presence their live performance is not to be missed. The two have already performed numerous shows in their hometown and also toured through Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, Northern California, and more notably the 2015 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT, and Mazatlan, Mexico. They just released the second single from the upcoming self titled debut album. The song is called 'Higher Ground' and can be found on iTunes. The warm, melodic sound, original songwriting, and fresh production compliment the universal messages of love, healing, and peace.
