Vic Meanguitarlicks is a highly skilled and passionate rock musician, known for his electrifying guitar skills and captivating stage presence. Maria Christina Band performs a variety of classic favorites including top Motown hits, Jazz Standards, classic rock, soul, and top 40's! Any song that has “good bones” and lyrics that appeal is a possibility for Maria. Two songwriters that especially appeal to her are Elton John and Stevie Wonder, for obvious reasons. One not-so-obvious twist is having a female vocalist own these tunes as well as many others, by the Commodores, Journey, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and others. Her sets also include “deep tracks”- songs that were loved but are not as commonly played now. Folks in the audience break into smiles, nods, and dance moves when these songs are played, as they bring a fresh twist mixed in with classics like Heard it Through the Grapevine and Let’s Stay Together. Maria’s backing group provides great grooves and textures for Maria’s singing; whether a sweet ballad, medium swing, dance floor rocker or all out disco inferno, this group has everything you'll want to hear!
