I will travel to an event outside the San Diego area depending on the details and what is required. Michael LeClerc is a Canadian singer/songwriter with a style reminiscent of Van Morrison, Dave Matthews or Jack Johnson. His sweet and soulful voice penetrates deeply, with a dream-like quality against an acoustic guitar that drifts between deftly executed finger-style to jangly strumming, and segues easily from love ballad to upbeat rocker. Currently located in Southern California, he is carving a niche for himself up and down the west coast, playing wineries, clubs and songwriter showcases from San Diego to Vancouver, Canada. Fiercely independent, Michael has been playing since the age of seven, and always knew that music was his calling. Growing up in the rural, blue-collar community of Chatham, Ontario fueled his wanderlust, but like many artists, there were several turns in the road before he made the decision to commit to music full time. Some of his early vocations included picking tobacco and working in a corn mill, eventually leading him to pursue a degree in Hospitality and Business Development. After a few years living in Ireland and working with several prestigious hotels, he moved to the Cayman Islands, where his band Smooth Bill had the opportunity to open for top Canadian band The Tragically Hip in front of several thousand people. He has since played to many large audience, including the Twilight Concert Series in Del Mar, CA, andis just as comfortable playing on a big stage as his is to an intimate listening room audience. In 2011, he released his first solo EP with producer Jim Wirt (Fiona Apple, Incubus, Hoobastank), titled Radio. Local terrestrial and internet radio began to pick up on the title track, leading to a three-month tour of California that soon segued into a permanent move. 2015 saw the release of a new self-titled EP, and he has been a featured performer in Renaissance Hotels’ RLife concert series, a program that in the past has hosted artists like Bruno Mars and Robin Thicke. Drawing comparisons to James Taylor, Jackson Brown and John Mayer, Michael’s instant appeal and warm stage presence invites the audience to come closer and listen to what he has to say.

Matt Bolton is a modern day one-man-band show using live-on-the-spot created loops and technology with a contemporary pop, classic rock, roots-rock vibe and feel. Often with hints of retro electronic, rock, reggae, and funk, he combines guitar, bass sounds, keyboards, synth and live vocal sounds to create a full band sound and feel. Matt picks from a seemingly endless collection of covers and originals to create an unforgettable live performance in which his ingenuity in looping magically reproduces the feel and energy of a complete band with no pre-recorded tracks. Having played in touring bands with some legendary musicians, Todd Rundgren, Bill Kreutzmann (Grateful Dead) and with weekly residency gigs at the Bay Area's most coveted venues (The Fillmore SF, Poster Room, Bartlett Hall, etc.) Matt plays 250-300 shows a year all over the country. Press: “As a high-tech one-man band, the tousle-haired Mill Valley musician (mattbolton.com) plays 300 shows a year for audiences that are invariably as impressed and as full of questions as I was.” Put very simply, “Bolton uses a piece of digital hardware, called a looping station, that records whatever sound you put into it and repeats it continuously. The unit sits on the floor, so he can operate it with his foot, and has three separate tracks with unlimited overdubs on each track to work with. He can sound like a small combo or a symphony orchestra.” Paul Liberatore – Marin IJ (9-3-2015) http://www.marinij.com/article/20150903/FEATURES/150909950

Hello and thank you for viewing my page. I specialize in Hawaiian/Island style music from Fiji to Ka'au Crater Boys, Jack Johnson, Bruno Mars and Jason Mraz. A softer reggae most would say. I create entire songs on the fly by looping and recording live. I start off by recording the drums then piano, bass guitar and then singing and playing ukulele live. Hope you like my videos and have a great day. See you soon!
