Our aim is to promote community engagement by providing leadership, encouraging philanthropy and fostering collaboration among area agencies and the general public, and to become a Community Resource Center that serves active adults by offering events, programs and services for the betterment of everyone in the region.
The senior community will continue to be well served, as there are classes offered at the Center that are not offered elsewhere, such as the popular Arthritis & Balance class that enables many mature adults to continue to live independently. The Better Breathers Club of the American Lung Association meets once monthly at the Center, and an art class for those with disabilities will be added in June. These specialized classes may also benefit younger members of the community who have physical limitations brought on by accident or disease.
