Yojance is my middle name, I grew up in a small town in the Dominican Republic that goes by the name Nizao, since childhood I was always inclined into music, my grandmother used to tell me I was Fernandito Villalona, I grew up listening to Merengue, Spanish Pop, Salsa, it wasn't until 1999 I started to expand my taste in music & I discovered R&B which to this date is my favorite music genre. I have been songwriting since 10 years old.
In 2008 I finished Music Business degree, but it wasn't until 2014 when I actually decided to start my career as a musician, and released my first single titled "Mi Corazón" then in 2015 released my first EP (YOJANCE - EP), in 2016 I started producing beats on my laptop and started recording songs and ended up with 50+ demos, which I decided to release in 5 five different Mixtapes "My Sound: The Mixtape" "James Calderone" "My Own Way" "Samurai Vol. I" "Samurai Vol. II" then in 2017 I decided to start fresh and produced over 40 beats which helped me...

I find inspiration all around me. I try to make my music representative of myself and my generation. In this instance I am releasing the deluxe version of “9 – EP”, a self-written and mostly produced EP, the EP contains 9 tracks including the hit single “Murmurando” & "Crazy In Luv" both written and produced by me. The EP contains genres like Bachata, Reggaetton, Pop, Latin Pop Fusion, Kizomba & Dembow.
