Wes Sp8 & the Apollo Proxy, from Seattle, is an eclectic band with a rock foundation steeped in blues, punk, and soul, with a tangible love for music itself. The band consists of Glendon Kisner, from Mississippi, on drums, whose reminiscent John Bonham and Bill Ward approach lends the perfect element to match Wes' gritty guitar and Jon's laid-back bass lines. Jonathan Murphy, from Idaho, on bass, whose unruffled style to the low-end adds depth to the thunderous drums and a warmth to the fuzzy guitars Wes provides. Jon also makes all the band’s artwork. Wes Speight, from Tennessee, can't escape the South’s twangy blues, flawlessly blending them with the Emerald City’s familiar distorted guitar sounds along with other instruments like synth organ and harmonica to create a distinctive music mix.
