Andy Howell is enthusiastic with a magnetic personality and provides all things keys as well as vocals. Andy grew up in Louisville, KY and began Vinyl Sunday back in his college days at Murray State.
Jennifer Howell brings some Northern attitude from Buffalo, NY. She provides creative lyrics and killer lead vocals with energy, as well as amazing riffs on the flute that will bring you back to the days of Jethro Tull.
Sam Woods is the lead guitarist from Leesburg, VA and brings an east coast mentality to the band. He provides bluesy, rocking riffs and harmonies that will leave you more than satisfied.
Kent McCarthy is the percussionist of Vinyl Sunday. His laid back personality reflects in his smooth rhythms and immaculate inner beats. He hails from Owensboro, KY.
Russ Kettle’s energetic approach brings depth and directions to his ever walking bass. He brings some rocky mountain way from Denver, CO.
Vinyl Sunday is signed to Lamon Records Nashville and released their first, self-titled EP in June of 2015. The six-track project was recorded at Quad Studios Nashville in 2014, with a featured gospel/soul singer, Dawn Freeman from Toledo, OH. The EP is the bands ‘Ode to Nashville’ sound. The single, “Procession” reached top 40 on the AMC Alternative Adult Contemporary chart. “Vinyl Sunday” is available on iTunes, Amazon and everywhere music is sold.
