From homelessness to triumph, Virginia native TruthCity is the epitome of rags to riches. The rapper and songwriter moved to NYC 6 years ago with the dream of being able to do what he's always wanted in life. Sleeping on floors and couches, Truth worked two jobs to fund his debut album "The Prologue" and start his own local tour. Truth has since performed all over NYC at venues like Webster Hall, DROM, Pianos and more. He has been featured in The Source Magazine, TeamBackPack and has headlined the Brooklyn Wildlife Festival and has opened for artists like Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne and more!
