Trains Across the Sea

Trains Across the Sea combines the confessional honesty of Townes Van Zandt with the sly wit of The Magnetic Fields, laying simple and heartbreaking lyrics against the backdrop of Americana music. Primarily the work of Andy Gallagher along with a host of collaborators, Trains has played hundreds of local and national shows over the years and has enjoyed a recorded output of five albums. After the critical acclaim of 2013’s “What a Day, What a Time We Had,” Andy cowrote and produced “SEMI FAME: The Truck Route to Broadway,” a musical about truckers. Trains Across the Sea is currently recording their sixth album.
