Tito Alonso

"Initially self-taught, Tito Alonso is by far a very passionate entertainer/percussionist in the Tampa Bay Area. In 1996 he began performing at clubs throughout Ybor City & All of Tampa Bay and shortly after began collaborating with DJ’s to complement his unique improvisational style.
Characterized as one of a kind, Tito’s approach combines his own colorful and pulsating rhythms with the sounds of many Florida DJ’s. Since the beginning of his percussion career he has performed part spontaneous, part planned solo sets. A DJ is an essential part of Tito’s act, a role he sees as comparable to his own. Tito brings exciting Latin percussion rhythms and energy into the DJ/ Percussion Combo, making him one of the most unique entertainers in the Bay Area today."
