Thornes is a female fronted NYC hard rock trio comprised by Antoinette Michael Thornes on Lead Vocals, guitar and piano, Steve Steele on Bass/ Backing Vocals and Randy Satarsky on Drums/Backing Vocals Active since October 2011, in that time Thornes has played many of the best venues in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia.
Antoinette started building this rock project in 2011 after she regained her voice from a debilitating car accident in 2005. During those years she never lost her love of music. Using the pain of the loss of her singing ability as the catalyst, she continued to write. Several years later, after finally finding a surgeon to restore her voice, she went right back to the studio to record her album "Issues" currently on ITunes. Now with her singing in full effect and surrounded by a great rhythm section in Steele and Satarsky, Thornes is recording their new upcoming album that will be a collaboration of these great performers and musicians.
