The Wind Playing Tricks is an experimental rock band from San Diego. As a trio, they perform instrumental compositions involving piano, guitar, bass and drums to grip audiences with a highly focused and dynamic sound. Their debut EP blends articulate melody, cerebral harmony and a delicately crafted rhythm section; this triggered a string of shows, each growing in size and intensity. Currently, the trio is in the midst of a busy winter in both Southern California and Arizona. The band is following up with a second release in early 2016.
