Shrugging off the oft-forgotten musical history of their hometown, The Skeleton Krew are fighting tooth and nail to earn their place – and to regain that of Jackson, Tennessee – in the landscape of music innovation. Hailing from the birthplace of Rockabilly, Cameron Briley and Hunter Cross agree on one thing: This is what they do.

The pair have coined the genre name Southern Gothic to describe themselves - a healthy mix of indie, rock, rockabilly, psycho-gospel, anti-folk, and blues.

The Skeleton Krew's live show is an experience: They want their fans to walk away with a feeling of exclusivity - like they've been inducted into a secret society. Electric or acoustic (though they prefer electric), they want to bring an air of nostalgia for a scene that once was, while driving themselves and their fans toward the future. Whether the set is cover-heavy or original-focused, The Krew bring their unique identity to the table through and through.

They have been honored in 2019 as Tennessee Music Awards' Indie/ Roots Artist of the Year, as well as having taken home Music Video of the Year for their track Evil. Though they would say that their biggest accomplishment of 2019 was playing an unforgettable set at Summerfest in Milwaukee.
