The John Lowery Band, formed in San Diego in 2024, is a four-piece rock group blending classic rock, blues, folk, and originals. Fronted by singer-songwriter John Lowery, with over 25 years of experience, the band delivers electrifying performances across Southern California. John, a former member of Hatful of Rain with Dramarama’s Mark Englert, performs over 100 solo shows yearly and collaborates in a duo with Englert. Bassist Karl Drews, a former Sublime bass tech, anchors the rhythm section. Lead guitarist Ernesto Talamentez adds soulful riffs, while drummer Mark Gianuzzi drives the beat.
