The Few are currently out of the studio with their first CD and now booked at many of Southern California’s historic and underground venues. Formed in the summer of 2010, as a power-trio, the main focus was to incite and deliver aggressive groove driven Hard Rock and Metal with artfully composed riffs, vocals, and lyrics that reflect the signs of the times.
In 2012, the band added the attentive and spirited vocals of David Helman, pushing the band to evolve into what it is now. With the departure of Bill Lima in 2014, featured in the current CD, The Few asked Billy Sablan to fill the void. With founding members, Matt Samadian and Bret Dubin, a goal was set to be a part of the new growing underground Rock and Metal scene in the U.S.
They have a collective professional history of performances alongside bands such as Sepultura, The Misfits, 311, Machine Head, Testament, and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes at large and small venues like The L.A. Coliseum, Angel Stadium, and The Key Club. The Few bring an up-front and honest approach to local venues and audiences. They are a tight group of seasoned recording artists, truly playing for the love of the music.
The Few have an eclectic variety of influences such as Metallica, Faith No More, Pantera, and Alice In Chains. Each member is diverse in many ways, and these diverse backgrounds have come together harmoniously into one. Obstacles and hardships aside, this collective of musicians are amongst the few defenders of the faith.
