The Cold Cold Hearts are a traditional country music band with roots in honky tonks and dance halls. They play two-step, western swing and waltz standards spanning from the 1950's to the 1980's. Original tunes are mixed in to their playlist as well! Comprised of 5 band members brought together from the love of music and the sheer fun of playing, The Cold Cold Hearts sound is made up rhythm and lead guitar, pedal steel guitar, drums and upright bass. Scott Angle founded the band in 2008 after moving to Austin from Chicago where he headed up another classic country project, Fulton County Line. His only rule for his band members is that they have fun. "If we're having fun, it will radiate throughout the audience!". Dancing is encouraged and welcome at every show!
