Hi there,

My name is Nika and I am the drummer for The Alkis. We are a folk/rock duo from Seattle with a sound similar to Brandi Carlile and The Head and the Heart. The lead singer (Carly Calbero) has been featured in Rolling Stone Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan, and Evening Magazine for her powerful vocals and performances. Our show is very unique since we play a variety of different covers along with our original music. The drum that I play - a cajon drum - is also not very common and is a great way to get the sound of a drum set without the overwhelming volume.
