Words are percussive, and I take that into account in my writing and performance. My work is soulful, but I love rock and roll and I have a healthy respect for both country and hip hop. When I am a soloist, my music feel more like World, but I prefer collaborating with a percussionist, a guitarist or even a full band whenever possible, grounding it in whatever style they enjoy to play.

Why do I do this? I love people, performing and the arts in all of it's forms, and music is a mainline communication tool - you can feel it coming.
