Founded in the summer of 2018, subtle cheetah brass is made up of members Kevin Barnes, Olivia Pidi, Jessica Santiago, Julie Dombroski, and Owen Caprell. As an active NYC brass quintet, subtle cheetah has performed notably at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music's Cary Hall, Scholes Street Studio, the Glassbox Theater at Mannes School of Music, Manhattan School of Music’s Greenfield Hall, and at outreach concerts throughout Manhattan. Committed to advancing the diversity of voices in classical music, subtle cheetah was awarded the 2019 Alsop Entrepreneurship Award by the Alsop Family Foundation.
