Since birth, soso was surrounded by music, his father the lead singer in a rock band and his elder brothers exposing him to all genres of music from hardcore rap to pop to old school Motown sounds. He then easily developed an ingenious songwriting ability that came to light in high school. With his group of friends that rapped for fun, soso spontaneously recorded a song. He realized that this was the natural outlet for all the things he was going through at the time.
At the age of 16, soso began working with his tight knit group and they continuously experimented with styles forming a production and rapping collective. soso then independently started releasing projects and at the age of 24, “Joyride” was created.
In 2016, soso is focused on performing and bringing his music to the masses. “People inspire me and I want to create music that they can vibe and connect to,” says soso. Sharing his life through lyricism, soso is poised to make his personal mark on the music world.
