Silence The Requiem is a Metal band from the MD/DC/VA area that brings a hybrid style of sub-genres into a powerful sound and energetic stage performance. Drawing influence from all areas of the heavy metal tree, we have created a unique blend of metalcore, death metal, djent, and melodic/technical metal. This has helped us join the stage with numerous national acts over the past few years, including All That Remains, Whitechapel, Psycroptic, Upon A Burning Body, Kataklysm, and Eyehategod. Performing with these seasoned bands gave us valuable knowledge, experience, and increased professionalism. On top of proving our "metal" on stage, we have made great strides off stage in developing our own merchandise revenue and social media presence.
