Learning to play the piano at age 3, Sheri Roberts Greimes has become a respected singer and musician throughout the Pacific NorthWest. Starting her career in piano-bars at the age of 15, she released her first single “Later On” with some local success. Sheri became a featured performer in the local lounges, area fairs and community events, weddings and private parties as she pursued her recording career.
Placing second in the Wrangler Country Showdown on the Grand Ole Opry, Sheri moved to Nashville in 1986. She quickly became a favorite songwriter/singer in Nashville, playing showcases and events in the prestigious Blue Bird Café, Douglas Corner, The Cannery, The Stockyard and Nashville Palace. Sheri continued to perform throughout the United States at the State and County Fair circuits, as well as in Las Vegas, NV. She released her first album “Good Night Texas” in 1990 and had some independent radio success.
Sheri became a single parent and moved home to Washington State to pursue a college degree and play in local bands while raising her son. Graduating from college with a medical degree, she continued to perform with local bands Borderline, PF Flyer, Mustard Seed and many more.
Sheri suffered a physical challenge in 2012 and was unable to sing for almost three years. Building her vocal strength back, Sheri has pursued her musical career with a vengeance, determined to give it all a second chance. Though she is on continuous oxygen therapy, she still sings with the dynamics and strength of a seasoned professional.
Venturing into the Blues Scene, she is working on recording her first “Blues” album of new songs.
She currently plays with her band Jo Momma, as well as part of the duo, Sassy Sistas and as a solo artist. Being featured in local venues, Sheri continues to share her music with the community, playing anywhere and anytime she can. Look for her next performance near you!
