My name is Robbie and I serve as the front man for a band called Ojos Feos , a world music project that plays all original music, much of it with contents pertaining to social justice. Our music is high energy, upbeat an danceable and fuses African and Latin rhythms with American jazz and blues. The band is a 7 piece project and our compositions are in Spanish, Sierra Leone Krio, Swahili and English. Rhythms that we perform include; samba, cha cha, cumbia, djoli, tumbao, reggae, guaguanco. The music incorporates influences from over 15 countries where I have worked as a medical doctor/physician on voluntary surgical missions. I am the president and founder of a registered non-profit Surg+Restore and I hold a Master's Degree in International Public Health:
