Red Sun Revue

Formed in the summer of 2013, Red Sun Revue has been forging original material of blues-based rock & roll with the groove and vibe of the early ‘70s while delivered in a raw and soulful style that is uniquely their own, erstwhile cutting their teeth on carefully chosen covers that pay homage to their roots which include the Rolling Stones, Humble Pie, Free, Elmore James, Steppenwolf and many more. Since their first gig in November of that year, they have played several gigs around the Seattle and Portland area at such venues as: Slim’s Last Chance, Triple Door Musicquarium, the Royal Room, Skylark Cafe, Tractor Tavern, Darryl’s Tavern, Stewart’s Place, 2 Bit Saloon, High Water Mark, the Spar, and others. They are always looking for gig opportunities and new places to play– be it a traditional gig shared with other bands, playing original material, or entertaining a three or four set evening playing a combination of originals and covers.
