Rachel Mallin + The Wild Type is a five-piece Indie Pop group from Kansas City, Missouri. While their discography of contagious dance anthems take a page from Spector's dream-like sonic textures of the 60's, the arrangement and lyrical style of each song beckons the movement of modern audiences. It is a blend of soulfully orchestrated pop, but unlike today's top 40, it is written, arranged, and produced, by the same musicians who perform it. It is purely human music.
