OceansOver is the project name of singer/songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist Tom Macgurn. Born and raised in Carlsbad, CA, he briefly attended school at Cal State Monterey Bay, before moving to Orange County to pursue his music Career. He spent the next several years performing at nearly every coffee shop in the county and busking regularly. Over the years he worked as a worship leader at various churches, sang in party bands, and gigged regularly at wine bars, bars, restaurants and weddings, as well as toured through western Europe in the summer of 2016. A month before his debut ep on November 4, 2019, he suffered a vocal injury, and faced an unknown recovery. Fortunately his voice returned 8 months later and he was able to follow up with the single "Closest" in June of 2020. His next single is slated to be released March 14th, with several more following.
