Nagavalli

Ranked among the Top 10 female vocalists and world music artists at the 2015-16 Austin Music Awards, Nagavalli’s music is described as "East-Indian Soul with delicate touches of Pop, Rock, Trance and pure Eastern tradition".

Nagavalli grew up in Mumbai, India, speaks her native language of Telugu at home and is also well-versed in Hindi and English. She moved to Austin, Texas after finishing graduate school in Florida. Through her journey, Valli realized that it is in music that she experiences moments of pure joy. Valli is fascinated with how one can connect deeply even with strangers through music and voice.

Nagavalli continues her Eastern Soul journey with the release of two new singles, "Reach Out" and "How I love you" in 2016. In addition, Valli will release in 2017, The Bhakti Project, an album of devotional music in the Eastern Indian tradition.
