Mr. P Chill is a solo, old school inspired, conscious hip hop artist. He brings positive lyrics reminiscent of mid 1990's boom-bap styles when the beats were funky and the words had a message to them. Performing an average of 75-100 shows per year from coast to coast, Chill's fan base has come to expect to have a good time when he is in town, as Chill puts it, he likes to perform "with" the audience, not for them as he is very charismatic and interactive with crowds of all sizes.
Mr. P Chill performs with either a live DJ on the turntables or he brings out his "beat rig" that consists of drum pads, triggering devices and a looper/sequencer for creating beats that he raps to, often right in front of the audience.
