Lisa Heller, a 21 year-old pop singer/songwriter, just released her single, Things You Never Said, last week. The Music Video for her last single Hope, released over the summer, (https://youtu.be/Q3LDjExp8rs) reached over 1.6 million views and trended to #1 on YouTube in 7 countries.
Her music career began while singing to overcome a condition called Vocal Chord Dysfunction that surfaced during stress-induced high school athletic events. She would pass out as she crossed the track finish line, but a doctor recommended singing to relax her vocal chords and help her finish the races (further explained here: lisaheller.com/bio). She writes all of her own songs, which share a positive, relatable message of personal strength through adversity. Things You Never Said talks about facing anxiety, something that so many people are dealing with in their lives.
Lisa recently returned from Sydney, AU where she signed a publishing deal for her EP with Source Music for Australia and New Zealand, and she performed live shows including Open Air Cinemas Festival, Café Lounge, Sans Run For Life, and BalconyTV Sydney http://www.balconytv.com/videos/lisa-heller-hope. She has played different venues on the US east coast, opened for acoustic cafés for Rachel Platten and American Authors, and this summer will perform in NY, Boston, PA and summer festivals-including Launch and Shawnee Riverfest.
