Growing up as a young girl in Kansas City, KS, she never imagined that her path could ever lead to the music industry, especially not one in Music City. As many artists’ stories, she also grew up the daughter of a pastor and minister. That path is what led her to run to music as an outlet. Larysa’s family moved from the inner city of KC, to the sticks in Smyrna, TN, to a beautiful suburb in Blue Springs, MO, and last but not the least, the country land of Nashville, TN. Fast forward to today, a lot has changed in this songstress’ world. Recently married to Nate Jackson out of Nashville, TN, in August of 2015, it seems like there’s nothing this lady can’t do. But through it all, it’s her humbling story that keeps Larysa at a relatable place with her fans. Having three children out of wedlock and struggling between being the “starving artist” and being a good mother, she never wants to mislead that she has ever had it all together. Every thought and every lyric to each and every song is thoughtfully construed to remind herself and others that we’re all human.
