Rapper/singer/songwriter LaJune represented her hometown Poughkeepsie, NY with pride when she performed on BET's “106 & Park” and became the first female to be inducted into the Freestyle Friday hall of fame. Since then LaJune has moved to NYC where she has honed her craft and graced the stage of some of the city’s most iconic performance venues.
LaJune has showcased her vocal talents on VH1 by writing and performing original jingles for the Emmy award-winning hit morning show "Big Morning Buzz Live”. She also performed alongside the host Nick Lachey, as well as having the opportunity to do an acoustic performance of an original song "Breathe" off of her debut EP entitled Body. The video for her single "Fibrillate" was selected for MTVU's Freshman Competition and went into rotation on the channel.
