When I was a kid, I'd set up a drum set with pots and pans and rock out for hours in the kitchen as my mother cooked until I had to pry myself away to eat dinner. I didn't know much about music at four years old, but I knew that when I played "Little Willy" and other old songs on a cassette mix tape from a family friend, I couldn't sit still. In first grade I told my friends I was going to play in a band when I grew up, so I guess the bug never left me alone. While my dream job would be to play my original songs for people across the globe, I am equally enthusiastic about sharing any kind of music, whether original or covers, and creating a fun, entertaining atmosphere for special events. Since I can play by ear and have a huge musical listening palate, I bring a large repertoire to every event and am able to tailor my sets to meet the musical tastes of the audience, whether I'm playing pop songs to middle schoolers or 50s hits to the other end of the generational spectrum. I'm able to "read the audience" on the fly and make sure that if they just want easy-listening, background-type music, I'm not overpowering their conversation, but if they want to specifically hear my music, I am all about entertaining! My personal favorite kinds of music to cover are pop, country, acoustic rock, and folk music. Additionally, I take requests beforehand so I can play the exact songs you want to hear at the event! My favorite spots to play are coffee shops, wine bars, living rooms, and anywhere I can entertain people. Have me play your next event and you will surely not be disappointed!
