Julie Slim

Julie Slim is a Lebanese-American multi-lingual vocalist, known for her versatility in singing styles. With her band, RendezVous, her warm and precise interpretations of American and international classics transport listeners in a variety of jazz and latin rhythms. Julie has produced and released three CDs, with her latest, a full length album, “Promenade Sentimentale”, a collection of French standards dear to her heart. In 2015, Petite Fleur won best Jazz/Lounge song at The Akademia awards, recognizing excellence in music. In 2017, her original Sarabande de Solitude with pianist, Shawn Ellison, won an Honorable Merit Award at the International Songwriting Competition, landing her a spot in the 2018 SXSW Songwriters Showcase.
