My name is Josh Cottrell, and I am a 24 year old singer/songwriter, based out of Knoxville, Tennessee. I began writing my own songs and performing in my early teens, but I just seriously jump started my solo career in 2014. I draw on musical influences such as: John Mayer, Dave Barnes, Ron Pope, and Ed Sheeran. I feel I have an Americana or Folksy sound to my music, and I love to play both guitar and piano on stage. I recorded my first EP, Life With You, in 2016. These songs are a love letter to my beautiful wife, Megan. She is my soldier and my encouragement throughout this journey with my music.
