JIMI LEE grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and is best known for playing harmonica like a horn section, guitar like a jazz trio and singing Sinatra all at the same time.
JIMI LEE played harmonica for giants such as Willie Nelson, Stephen Stills, Clarence Clemons, Pinetop Perkins and more. He spent 12 years in Hawaii captivating audiences from around the world, and was voted Best In the State by the Hawaiian Blues Society.
After relocating to Austin Texas JIMI LEE won First Place at the annual Austin blues competition. JIMI became the first artist to represent Austin Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. JIMI LEE went on to win the Semi-Finals for Austin, and compete at the famous Orpheum Theatre as one of the top eight Solo/Duo acts in the world. The “Best of the Best” as the Blues Foundation puts it.

Once with his song “Pocket Full Of Soul”, another First Place with “Laudromat”, and the third win with “Where Are You Tonight”. When ASG and the Nashville Songwriters Association teamed up for the competition, JIMI won a big First Place in Pop with his song “I Wanna Kiss You So Bad”, Second Place in Jazz with “Where Are You Tonight” and Third Place in Blues Rock with “Cheap Thrills”.
