I play upright bass, electric bass, guitar, banjo, and keys. Born in San Diego, CA, I was a self taught musician until I entered college -where I pursued a music minor and eventually an M.A. in anthropology.
I have performed with Bayonne, Peter Rowan, Tony Rice, Tim O'Brien, Jeff Austin, Brittany Haas, Danny Barnes, and Elephant Revival. I have opened up for The Wailers, Big Thief, and The Black Angels. Some of my choice festivals are Oregon Country Fair, Old Settler's Music Festival, and Kerrville Folk Festival.
My favorite venues include The Belly Up in Aspen, CO, Freight & Salvage in Berkeley, CA, Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO, and The Mohawk in Austin, TX.
