As a solo acoustic act, James McGarvey is perfect for your festival, market, coffee shop, bar, or private party. Featuring songs from Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson, and Lorde, James’ typical show will have songs from the ‘80s and ‘90s as well as contemporary tunes and original music. Generally, James plays a three-hour show, broken down into two 45 minute sets and one 60 minute set; however, additional time may be requested. James provides his own PA, with connections for both his guitar and microphone. With two nearly decades of performance experience, James brings exemplary talent and professionalism to each gig.

James is a one of a kind performer. He'll play Richard Marx and Foo Fighters back-to-back, and somehow he makes it work! His voice is stellar, and his guitar skills are phenomenal. He likes to chat with the crowd too, which I find fun and personable. Highly recommend!

Love this guy! I had the pleasure of catching his show a few months ago, and he was phenomenal! Living in Canada, I'm unable to see him perform as much as I'd like to. But next time I'm back in SoCal, I'll be looking him up to catch a show!

James McGarvey is truly a talent! I have seen him perform in various venues around town, and will continue to watch for upcoming shows. His repertoire is diverse; his music appeals to all ages. I especially love the level of energy James puts into his singing and guitar work. The dude really rocks!
