Ian C. Parker is an indie/folk singer/songwriter originally from Asheville, North Carolina, now living in Nashville. Jacob Sides of Fabricoh Magazine says of Ian, "I don't think he has it in him to write a bad song...He's once again proven himself to be of the rare breed of songwriter who still has something original to say."

Ian's influences are diverse but Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Elliott Smith are cited as his favorite songwriters. His latest record is "Somebody Else" (Wax Zion Records). Sides says of the record, "He has crafted another record that is challenging, exciting, and supremely relevant" and listed the album among his Top 10 of 2013.
