Ginger Roots is an emerging artist born and raised in Encinitas, CA. We perform as a solo/duo(me with guitar and my brother with drums), trio and as a 4-piece constantly. We also play with our full 6 or 7 piece line up when requested. We play mostly reggae originals, covers and some classic non-reggae songs as well. We have provided entertainment to many restaurants/bars, corporate events, private parties, weddings and concert venues from the U.S to Brazil, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Mexico. We are flexible and easy to work with. We've shared the stage with Ziggy Marley, Stephen Marley, Julian Marley, Steel Pulse, Barrington Levy, Don Carlos, Mykal Rose, Black Uhuru, Pato Banton, Israel Vibrations, Tribal Seeds among others. Absolutely EXCELLENT! They were all around wonderful! Great music, and they were very able to read the crowd and play at a perfect volume for the environment. They could play a great variety, easily switching between more mellow background music to some fun uptempo tunes when the crowd felt like dancing. They arrived early and were great to work with, polite and super accommodating. I highly recommend them and hope we have an opportunity to book them again soon.
