Zoe and Molly Flores make up Rosenberg, Texas based Punk-Rock band StarFlightRocks. They picked up their instruments in January of 2011 at the ages of 11 and 10 years old and even though they started later than some, they quickly began mastering their instruments. After 6 months of lessons they played their first show in front of an auditorium full of people at a summer rock camp, and have never looked back. Zoe is the lead singer-songwriter, guitarist, bassist and Molly covers the drums, percussion and backing vocals. In 2012, the duo won Wharton's Got Talent, and in 2013 after nearly 250,000 public votes they were selected from a pool of 90 contestants to compete at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Rodeo Rockstar Competition and were able to finish in 1st place in their division. This accomplishment also had the girls featured in Rodeo Houston's "Bowlegged H" Magazine. In August 2013, Zoe got her first guitar endorsement through Daisy Rock Girl Guitars “Zoe epitomizes the reason I started Daisy Rock Girl Guitars. Finding a guitar that she could play and totally rock out on was a challenge for her since she has a smaller stature. We love that she found us and that we found her. Zoe and StarFlight will rock your world!” says Tish Ciravolo, Founder and President of Daisy Rock Girl Guitars. Since then they have played countless venues including the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo multiple times as well as the House of Blues in Houston, BFE Rock Club, Warehouse Live, made an appearance on the 2015 Vans Warped Tour, and performed for the first ever Houston Super Bowl LIVE with the newest addition of Brandon Martinez on bass and opened up for some amazing acts such as "Puddle of Mudd" , "Kings X", "Scott Stap", and "L.A. Guns" . Stay tuned as StarFlightRocks continues their "Flight to Stardom".
