FX5 regularly plays clubs and casinos as well as private affairs throughout San Diego county. They recently played at the San Diego Bayfair and was one of 40 bands selected to compete in the Ultimate Cover Band competition at Viejas. They are on regular rotation at the Second Wind clubs in Santee and Navajo, Dirk's Niteclub in Lemon Grove and Viejas Casino.
Each FX5 performance gets the audience on their feet and dancing to the music they love. The band's repertoire includes R&B ("What You Won't Do for Love," Bobby Caldwell), Funk ("Brick House," The Commodores), Arena Rock ("Separate Ways," Journey), Pop ("Walking on Sunshine," Katrina and the Waves), '60s ("I Got a Line on You," Spirit), '70s ("All I Ever Wanted," Santana), '80s ("Sweet Child o' Mine," Guns N' Roses), '90s ("You Oughta Know," Alanis Morissette), 00s "Forget You," Cee Lo), and the latest ("Shut Up and Dance," Walking On The Moon).
FX5 maintains a mailing list of over 200 people and also have an Android app for interacting with their fans. Every performance includes professionally produced 11 x17 posters (samples included) and email flyer's.
