Fast Nasties

Seattle is well known for its contributions to the musical landscape. Next up is Progressive Blues band Fast Nasties. The five-piece outfit offers its brand of blues as a sound best described as Motown meets Led Zeppelin.

The band blends traditional blues essences with rock and soul to bring a fresh, younger vibe to a musical style long relegated to "granddaddy's records." But this ain't your granddaddy's blues. It’s a sound crafted with sensitivities for the modern ear while maintaining cornerstones of blues which purists will appreciate. Eric Blu, lead singer, offers smooth and powerful vocals while guitarist Andreas Laursen adds scorching leads over a rhythm section that cooks throughout.
