Ella Jet and Future Soul want to bring out your most human inner emotions all through their music. Through heartbreak and a strong passion for life, their cosmic songs are born. Constantly pushing the limits of progressive Neo-Soul the band's overall theme of love will leave you recharged, enlightened and connected to your higher self.
Ella Jet has been a fixture on Tampa Bay’s music scene ever since she was 12 years old. In 2014 at just 16, she was selected into the prestigious Grammy Museum's Music Revolution Project and her live reputation grew quickly with openings slots for We The Kings, Emily Kinney, In The Valley Below and Never Shout Never.

Ella Jet and Future Soul want to bring out your most human inner emotions all through their music. Through heartbreak and a strong passion for life, their cosmic songs are born.
Then two years later she began to experiment with a new sound and began to form her own band called appropriately FUTURE SOUL. The new sound combines 1970’s soul ala Stevie Wonder, progressive jam band instrumentation and eclectic rock in the vein of Steely Dan all mixed into a melting pot of soul fusion. The band doesn’t sound like anyone else on the music scene and their live performances have matured into crowd-pleasing show stoppers. Dillon Reeder a music veteran drummer handles the soulful backbeat, Zach West on keyboards provides sweet melodies on the keys, Levi Foe delivers deep funky basslines and newcomer Cameron Dorsey rocks with sustain and distortion on the lead guitar. Ella Jet hangs tough in the center of it all on electric rhythm guitar and sings her dreamy songs with the voice of a songbird. Since forming, they have been performing non-stop with direct support for legendary acts such as Alessia Cara, Warren Hayes’ last waltz tour, and Norah Jones and Jackson Browne.
Ella Jet’s debut ep "Black Wave Diary" was just released in Sept 2018. The songs reflect heavy lyrical subject matter: songs about teenage pain, addiction, abandonment and family dysfunction with powerful intense grooves underneath. And in a whirlwind, her new band is currently recording the follow up full-length album called “Love Sound” at Zen Recording with local luminary Steve Connelly.
Like the music of John Lennon, the music is raw and very personal, fragile yet intense. Let Ella Jet & Future Soul take you on a trip high in the clouds floating inside a dream. It’s out of this world
