Donjay Shemar McKenzie (born March 16, 1998), known professionally as Donny Bling, is an Jamaican Singer-Songwriter. Donjay was born in Kingston, Jamaica. He lived in the St. Andrew Parish and attended the Oberlin High School which is located in Lawrence Tavern. He began doing music in (2012) which was when he released his first single "Achiever".

Donjay's first attempt at writing lyrics to a paper was at age nine, and by age 13 he was already recording and producing his own records. While at Oberlin High School, Donjay was described as a quiet individual who didn't really keep friends.

His stage name "Donny Bling" was given to him by his father; it was basically a nickname at first.
