Donnie Kintyre is the stage name/Alias for singer/songwriter Tyler McDonald. Starting his musical career in high school, after moving to Austin in his sophomore year, Tyler participated in a number of bands, both as lead and rhythm guitarist. He didn't start composing music and singing till his last year of school. Now known as 'Donnie Kintyre' (a name stemmed from his Scottish roots) Tyler writes for his own solo project, his other Post-Hardcore project Lion Drive, works with local musicians constantly collaborating, and hits open mics' and intimate venues all around the city and surrounding areas.
