DD White is a Detroit-raised/NYC-based band founded in early 2016. Their high-energy performances draw from an eclectic taste in music-- rock, soul, surf-pop, cabaret, and gypsy punk rooted from a base of Motown influence. Modern retro and unique, their distinctive rawness and solid rhythm section, exciting guitar interplay, catchy hooks, and front-woman/songwriter "DD's" sensual charm, create a contagious atmosphere of fun musical ambition.
Past venues include Rockwood Music Hall, the legendary Bitter End, Piano’s, the studio at Webster Hall, and esteemed Joe's Pub.
