Brave Spirits is the folk brainchild of singer songwriter Ellis Bryant. Born in Nashville, Bryant spent his youth in rural Tennessee and Kentucky. At age 13 he was relocated to central Wyoming by his missionary parents where he stayed until graduating high school. Shortly thereafter Bryant made his home in Colorado, where he honed his performing arts skills and built a repertoire of western influenced guitar music. Teaming up with childhood friend and percussionist Brady Shaw they formed Brave Spirits and moved to southern California.
