Former frontman and main songwriter for Austin’s locally-beloved Zykos, Michael Booher is making music again with a new band under his own moniker. He recorded an LP in December with producer Mike McCarthy (Spoon, Heartless Bastards, Patty Griffin, etc.) and is currently aiming for a 2016 release. Ten loose, spirited Rock & Roll and Americana songs with Booher’s familiar confessional lyrics and yearning vocals, the collection is a welcome return to form and one that may very well attract a wider audience.
