About BaReL

BaReL is a singer/songwriter and improvisational guitarist from North County San Diego, with a sound that fuses Classic Rock and Pop with Smooth Jazz and R&B. Listeners get a fresh take on their favorite classic tunes, as well as some outstanding original material woven into the set.

BaReL’s solo guitar work is melodic, elegant, and sometimes mesmerizing. His sound combines the silky texture of a nylon-stringed, classical guitar with the dreamy quality achieved through guitar synth patches, delay effects and layers of sound coming from his digital Loop Station. BaReL’s voice has a unique sound, reminiscent of 60‘s and 70‘s artists like Cat Stevens, John Lennon, Tom Petty and Al Green.
